You can use a command line argument when starting the product to run it in a particular mode.

1. If ConstructSim Planner is running, exit.
2. From the Windows Start button, choose Run.

   The Run dialog opens.

3. Click the Browse button.

   The Browse dialog opens.

4. Navigate to the location of the executable file (ConstructSim.exe), select it, and click Open.

   The File Open dialog opens for you to select a file.

5. If you want to open a file with the default setup, in the Open text field of the Run dialog, after the path and executable file name, type a space followed by a command line argument.

   For example, if this is the location of the executable file, C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\ConstructSim CONNECT Edition\ConstructSim\ConstructSim.exe and you want to restore the default settings, type the following in the Open field: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\ConstructSim CONNECT Edition\ConstructSim\ConstructSim.exe" -RestoreDefaults.

6. Click OK.
